Carl R. Campbell

Carl R. Campbell passed away on July 13, 2024. Carl was born August 7, 1956 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Carl and Jetty (Duvall) Campbell. Carl is survived by his wife Marsha (Lineback) Campbell, and sons Ken (Jessica) Campbell and Alex Campbell. 

Since school age Carl lived in the Central Ohio area. He graduated from Brookhaven H.S. and attended Columbus State. Carl was a long-time press operator and worked for SIG Combibloc, Pactiv, and retired in January 2018 after nearly 15 years with Diocesan Publications, Dublin, OH. After retirement he enjoyed traveling, grilling, reading, listening to classic rock, and following his many favorite sports teams. He loved spending time with his family and favorite cat Vinnie. Those who knew him especially enjoyed his humor, kindness, cooking, and vast sports-of-all-kinds knowledge. 

A private goodbye at Newcomer will be followed later this year by a Celebration of Life. Carl will be laid to rest next to his in-laws in the West Lawn Cemetery, Newcomerstown, Ohio.
