Carl Jay Fyffe, 75, of Columbus, was called home October 6, 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents Merdith and Fay (Williams) Fyffe. Carl is survived by his loving wife Mary; daughters Jackie (Mike) Cordle of Swanton, OH, Lisa Johnson of Columbus; grandson Michael (Mandy) Cordle; granddaughter Amie Jo (Brad) Hull; great-grandson Mikie D. Cordle and great-granddaughter Kaylee May Cordle all of Columbus. Carl was a preacher at Spring Fork Enterprise Baptist Church in London, Ohio. He was a mason and veteran of the Korean War. Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at Southwest Freewill Baptist Church 1542 Greenleaf Rd., Columbus, Ohio. Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00PM Monday, October 10, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Rev. John Meade and Rev. Steve Hicks will be officiating with interment at Alton Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
