Carl Edward Harris Jr., 47, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Doctors West Hospital. He was born February 13, 1962, in Columbus. Carl was preceded in death by his father, Carl Edward Harris Sr. He is survived by his mother, Rosemary (Ed) Swartz Longberry; daughter, Shelly Fannon; sisters, Cathy Tipton (Del), Cherie (Bert) Thompson, Kimberly (Ray) Jerome and Shelly (Ken) Kreager; grandmother, Mary Swartz (Chuck); special companion, Rhonda Dawson; grandchildren, Desiree, Blake, Ciara; special nieces, nephews and an extended host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, July 3, 2009 from 3:30-6:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, with the funeral service beginning at 6:30 PM.
