Carl A. Jennings Jr.

Carl Arthur Jennings Jr., passed away peacefully on November 25th, 2023 at home with his wife by his side. He was 72 years old. He was born at White Cross Hospital in Columbus Ohio on August 1st ,1951 to the late Dallice and Carl Jennings Sr. He grew up in the short north area of Columbus, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by his sister, Sharon and son, Robert Wilson (Jennings). He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Debbie. He is also survived by eight siblings; Bill (Linda) Adams, Robert Jennings, Florence (Jerry) Hein, Geraldine Coyer, Teri (Ron) Dungan, Clarence Coyer, Willie (Tina) Coyer and David Coyer. He is survived by his children; Jeremy (Anna) Jennings, Crystal (Karl) Lowry, Jessica (Chandler) Gerlach, Daniel (Chelsia) Ross, Deidra (Mike) Ross, Dana Ross, and Derek Ross. Carl has eight grandchildren; Alana, Chase, Leeland, Zoey, Jace, Amelia, Olivia and Jaxon. Carl is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Carl was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He had been stationed in Newport, RI during the Vietnam War. After the Navy he worked as a machinist and welder by trade.

Carl was a standup guy who always advocated for the underdog. His best quality was the unwavering support and loyalty he showed to those around him. He was also a proud husband, father, brother and grandfather. In his later years, Carl had a passion for camping and traveling with his wife.
