Carl L. Tussey, 86, of Columbus, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. Carl was born in Denton, KY, on November 3, 1923, to Butler and Lucy (Hall) Tussey and is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ed, Earcel, Clyde, Richmond and Oscar Tussey; sisters, Cora Vujnovic, Goldie Glass, Stella Brown and Ruby Leo. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Elean (Hunnicutt) Tussey; daughter, Dianne (Bob Cochran) Weber; sister, Dorothy Littleton; grandson, Bryan (Maria) Barlow; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carl is a veteran of WWII and served in the Infantry Regiment 10th Mountain Division in Italy and is a member of The American Baptist Church of Westerville. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 14, 2010, 4-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. Graveside Service will be Tuesday, June 15, 2010, 10:00 AM at Blendon Central Cemetery, 6340 Hempstead, Westerville, OH 43081.
