Carl Romine, Jr, 86, of Minerva Park, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2008. Born to the late Carl M. and Phoebe (Butts) Romine in Bristol, OH, Carl is survived by his wife of 59 years, Annabelle (Mechling) Romine; daughter, Vickie L. (Roy) Scruggs; son, Charles E. (Debra) Romine; sisters, Katherine Murry and Margaret Stowe; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 9 nieces and nephews. Carl was a WWII veteran of the Army and attached to the 5th Air Force and was retired from Jeffrey Mining and Manufacturing. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 31, 2008, 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. with the funeral service on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, 11:00AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden.
