Carl "Allen" White

Allen was born on Jan. 18, 1959 to Carl and Mary (Hunter) White in Columbus, Ohio. He passed away April 23, 2024 with his family by his side. He was an avid athlete and sports fan, especially liking OSU. He was the starting quarterback at South High School and many softball leagues over the years. He then enlisted and honorably served in the U.S. Army for six years at Fort Hood, TX. Allen enjoyed his job at Columbus Pipe and Equipment for over 40 years. His true passion was his family - cherishing every moment he could with them. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of over forty years, Brenda (Thompson) White; his mother and father, Carl and Mary White; grandmother, Catherine Hunter; grandfather, "Doc" Hunter; brother, Gary White; paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, including Ricky Hunter, and friends.

A visitation will be held for Allen on May 1, 2024 from 5 to 7 pm at the Newcomer Southwest Chapel. An additional hour of visitation from 10am until 11am on May 2, 2024 before Military honors at 12pm at Greenlawn Cemetery.
