Carol Blake

Carol A. Blake age 65 of Galloway passed away Thursday, October 23, 2003 at her home following a battle with cancer. Retired from FCBMRDD after twenty-two years of faithful service. Preceded in death by infant daughter Trudy, father Karel Snyder and step-father Ava Savage. Survived by children Deborah Blake of Galloway, Charles Blake Jr., Richard Blake Sr. and Lisa Blake all of Springfield; Step-children Steve Blake of London, J.B. Blackburn of TN, Anna Blake of Springfield, Wanda (James) Hassey of Columbus; grandchildren Richard Blake Jr. and Ashton (Jason) Smith and Danny Hixon and numerous step-grandchildren; mother Emelene (Corbin) Savage of Columbus; half brothers Gary L. Snyder, Robin Snyder, Scott Snyder and Chris Snyder; ex-husband Charles Blake Sr. Visitation is Monday from 5-8 PM at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio. Funeral service 10 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Pastor Glenn A. Palmer officiating. The family will conduct a private inurnment service at a later date. The family wishes to thank Dr Richard Woerndle MD, the Home Staff Nurses at the James Cancer Center, Tina Snyder and special thanks to Teresa Wilson.
