Carol L. Feyes, 61, Columbus, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born in Marion, OH on March 11, 1949, to Dwight and Maxine (Lashey) Wilcox, and is preceded in death by her father and brother, Gary Wilcox. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Michael Feyes; daughters, Katie and Stephanie Feyes; son, Brian Feyes; numerous extended family members and countless friends. Carol was a member of the Carnoustie Circle Club, Pinnacle Golf Club, SWEA, OEA and NEA. Carol retired from the Columbus City School District and was presently teaching at Finland Middle School with South-Western City Schools. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Funeral Service on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Tressel Family Fund for Cancer Prevention Research at Ohio State's James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, PO Box 183112, 660 Ackerman Road, Columbus, OH 43218-3112 or http://cancer.osu.edu/waystogive.
