Carol S. Mullins, a remarkable woman whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, passed away on March 3, 2024. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. Her legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in our hearts.
Carol was born on February 9, 1942, in the picturesque state of West Virginia. In the late 1950s, she embarked on a journey that would shape her life profoundly. She moved to Ohio, where she found her place in a vibrant community that welcomed her with open arms.
After marrying her beloved husband, James F. Mullins Sr., Carol's adventures continued. Together, they ventured to the rolling hills of Kentucky, where they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. The beauty of the Bluegrass State left an indelible mark on their hearts.
In 1975, Carol and James returned to Ohio, their roots firmly planted in the Buckeye State. Here, they raised their four wonderful children: Frances (married to Cort), James Jr. (married to Nancy), William, and Barry (married to Angie). Carol's nurturing spirit and unwavering faith in God guided her as she instilled love, compassion, and resilience in her family.
Carol and James were married for 45 wonderful years, until his passing. Their love story was one of commitment, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they weathered life's storms and celebrated its joys, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew them.
Carol's professional journey was equally inspiring. From her early days at St. Rita's Health Center to her supervisory role at Mt. Carmel Hospital and Target, she touched countless lives. Her warm smile and genuine interest in people endeared her to everyone she met.
Beyond her professional achievements, Carol was a multi-award-winning Avon representative. Her passion for beauty products and her commitment to helping others feel confident and beautiful were evident in her work. She believed that every person deserved to feel special, and she made it her mission to brighten their lives.
Carol's family gatherings were filled with joy and warmth. She cherished her grandchildren—Rashawna, Elyce, Bret, Cody, Tiffany, and Joshua—and great-grandchildren—Trent, Allana, Melanie, and Kyrstin. Carol's home was a haven of love, where laughter echoed through the rooms and memories were woven into the fabric of time.
As we bid farewell to Carol, we celebrate her life—a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and unwavering kindness. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and the belief that small acts of kindness can change the world.
