Carol S. Newsome, age 73, passed away in her home on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. She was born on December 29, 1947 to the late James and Stella Bare in Athens, Ohio.
Carol is survived by her husband, James Newsome whom she loved for 53 years; sons, Scott, Joe (Heather) Newsome; daughter, Samatha (Bill) Thompson; brothers, Jim (Reggie) Bare, Mike (Diane) Bare, Jerry (Tina) Bare and Steven Bare; sisters, Joyce (John) Stepp, Donna (Rusty) Ames, Leisa (Ken) Chambers; grandchildren, Eli (Courtney) Newsome, Zach (Samantha) Newsome, Bubba Thompson and Jena Thompson.
Carol was also preceded by her siblings, Robert Bare and Terry Hysell.
The family will receive guests on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 2-4:00 p.m. at Newcomer-sW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City. The Funeral Service will begin at 4:00 p.m.
