Carol R. Chaney, 53, Worthington, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born in Detroit, MI on August 17, 1956, to Harold and Grace (Cooley) Rodman and is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harold D. Rodman Jr. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Richard N. Chaney; son, Jonathan (Sarah) Chaney; sister, Tanya (Steve) McKisic; brothers, Michael (Linda) Rodman and Christopher Rodman; grandson, Benjamin Pilcher; mother-in-law, Connie Chaney; nieces, nephews and many friends. Carol's faith and love of music were a very important aspect of her life. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, 2010, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow immediately at Riverside Cemetery.
