Carol Povkov Towry, 79, of Gahanna, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021. Carol was born August 25, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Philip and Ethel (Kaeser) Povkov.
Carol grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, then moved to Inverness, Florida and five years ago moved to Ohio.
Carol will be deeply missed by her husband of 52 years, Joseph Towry, five children, sister, and friends.
Carol is survived by her husband, Joseph; sister, Terrianne Brame and life partner June, and daughter Tara; daughter, Denise and her husband Joel Gary, their children, Rich and his wife Melissa and their children, Dylan, Ethan, Kayleigh, and Ryan, Alison and her husband Brian Mengerink and their daughter Margaret; daughter, Pamela and her husband Danny Davis, their children, Madison, Adam, and Christina and her husband Kristoffer Lee and their children Lincoln and Lucas; son, Jai Evans and his husband James Bradford, Jai's daughter, Amber and her husband Jared Greene and their children, Emma and Sadie; son, Randy Evans and his wife Crystal, their children Joey and Ashlee and her husband Emerson Soto and their children Alex and Jax; son, Kenneth Towry and his significant other Brandie Hatley and their children, Caleb and his wife Maria, Atreyu, and Rayden.
Carol was preceded in death by her mother Ethel and her father Philip.
A private memorial is being held by the family.
