In loving memory of Carolyn S. Anelick who passed peacefully at her home in Grove City, Ohio April 9th, 2021.
She was born at home along with her twin sister, Marolyn, during the depression on November 28, 1937 to Arthur and Helen Pearce in Ashville, Ohio. They grew up in a large family with older siblings Ray, Jerry, Eugene, Bonnie.
Carolyn married Frank Anelick in July 1971 and moved to Pataskala, Ohio to raise a family. She had several jobs over the years, but her greatest pride and joy was the job of raising her children and watching them grow as well as helping care for several grandchildren in her lifetime. Her precious love, Frank, died in 1992 and Carolyn moved to Grove City, Ohio in 1997 to be closer to her sons.
Carolyn loved music, talking, visiting friends and family, and the Lord, Jesus. She was a strong woman who never ceased to stand up for people and would not tolerate bullying. She was always the first one at the hospital or funeral home and was willing to help care for people and make their troubled times a bit easier. Mom was the one person in this whole world we all knew would be our protector and champion-no matter what.
She is survived by her children Cindy Stewart, Duane McGee, David (Beth) McGee, Carol (Ed) McFarland, Frank (Jana) Anelick, her brother Ray Pearce and several Grandchildren as well as Great-Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by husband Frank Anelick, Grandchild Christina Lang, Brothers Eugene and Jerry Pearce, and sisters Bonnie Anelick and Marolyn Luster.
Special thanks to Elida Deyo for helping take care of mom her last few months on the Earth. She appreciated you and we will forever be grateful.
We love and miss you mom and hope to see you on the other side. Until then, "Bye, Love, Bye."
The family will receive guests on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 5-6:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City. The Funeral Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. The Burial will take place on Saturday at Harrison Township Cemetery at 10:30 a.m.
