Carolyn Burgess

BURGESS, Carolyn Sue, 41, of Columbus, went to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, September 13, 2005. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Jean (Messer) Kennedy. Carolyn is survived by her daughters Jeanie and Christine Locklear; son Matthew Locklear; father and step-mother, Lawrence and Lottie Kennedy; sister Georgia (Mike) Howard; brother Gary (Susan) Kennedy; stepbrothers Deric (Suzanne) Kersey, Jay (Fredericca) Kennedy; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Carolyn was a member of Grove City Church of God and the Columbus Cathedral. She enjoyed singing for the Lord, quilting and fishing. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Saturday, September 17, 2005 at Grove City Church of God 4325 Harrisburg Pike, Grove City, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00PM Friday, September 16, 2005 at the church. Pastor Randy Barr and Pastor Ed Gillum will be officiating with interment at Grove City Cemetery.
