Carolyn Marie (Vanderburg) Jones , age 73, passed away from complications from open heart surgery on January 31, 2022.
She was born on October 5, 1948 to the late Joseph William Vanderburg and Wanda Alberta (Mcmanaway) Vanderburg.
Carolyn leaves behind her loving husband and best friend of 49 years, Steven M. Jones, and fur baby Martha. Siblings Connie (Jim) Murphy, Bobby Vanderburg, and Terri (Rick) Vanderburg-Watts. Brother in laws Bob (Sam) Jones, Ray (Debbie) Jones.
Carolyn was the BEST AUNT EVER to Brian, Ciara, Sean, Caitlyn, Seth, Ricky, Kaitlyn, Pj, Brad, Carissa. She was the GREATEST GREAT AUNT to Ayrealle, Brandon, Bryce, Brian, Amaya, Maddox, Ava, Paisley, Jayse , Savanah, Ryan, Abigail, Audrey, Remy, Bryce, and David Lee. Along with Aunts, Cousins, and family, life long friends, and special neighbors.
Carolyn spent time doing crossword puzzles, being a tv and movie buff, she could recall names of actors and actresses without going to google. She made spending time with her special for all of her nieces and nephews. It just seems like food always tasted better at Aunt Carolyn's. Macaroni salad and root beer floats for sure. She will be deeply missed by so many.
Visitation / Service will be Saturday February 12, 2022 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Newcomers Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123.
