Carolyn May Mckenzie

Carolyn May McKenzie 91 of Orient, passed on August 18, 2015. She was born March 7, 1924 in Lexington, Kentucky to William Oliver and Nancy Lou Rasnick who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her husbands Charles McKenzie and John Weber; siblings Bertie Rasnick, Bill Rasnick, Lillian Heiner, Sarah Dotson; grandchildren Christina K. Horsley, Charles and Jason McKenzie. She is survived by 4 children Carole Horsley, Jannette Slane, June K. Brown, and Charles McKenzie; grandchildren Elizabeth Miller, Paul Horsley, Jeffrey Horsley, Larry Robert Slane, Carrie K. Hoover, and Alesha McKenzie; great-grandchildren Nathen Horsley, Arren Horsley, Megan Lambert, Nicholas Horsley, Benjamin Horsley, Katherine Rae Slane, Kylie Kay Hoover, Natalie Avery Hoover, Sophia Colette Hoover, Gage Tyler McKenzie, and Madison Marie McKenzie; great great-grandchild Isabele Lambert.

Carolyn was married to Charles for 32 years, and John Weber for 32 years. She was a 42 year resident of Clark Lakes. She was a professional hair stylist and owner of Kay's Hair Fashions, and also worked at Penzone's, and Margaret Pratt Salon. She was an avid gardener who loved roses, antiques, and was the world's greatest pie baker.

Visitation will be held from 11 to 1PM Monday August 24 with a funeral service at 1PM by Pastor Hohe, at Newcomer Funeral Home SW, 3393 Broadway Grove City, OH 43123. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery. To leave a message for the family, click on the "Share Memories" link above.
