SHAFFER (MOODY)
Carolyn Rose Shaffer (Moody), 49 years old, longtime resident of Grove City, OH, formerly of Bellaire, OH passed away on Monday, February 15th, 2010. Carol was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her husband, family and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Joseph D. Moody.
She is survived by mother and stepfather, Beverly (Mike) Campbell, devoted husband of 31 years, John A. Shaffer, loving children: Jennifer (Tommy) Johnson, Heather and Joshua Shaffer, sisters: Elaine (Bud) Doughty, Janet Haught and Kathie (Mark) Conner, brother, Alan Moody, in laws, Gene and Sandy Shaffer, brother in law, Ronal (Grace) Shaffer, 8 grandchildren and her beloved dog, Dozer.
Celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, February 27th, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Community Building in Maxwell Acres, Moundsville, WV.
