Carolyn Sue Pierce
Carolyn Sue Pierce, 58, Sunbury, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011. Carolyn was born in Roanoke, VA on July 25, 1953, to Johnson and Lena (Sloan) Hardy, and is preceded in death by her father, brothers and sisters. Survivors include her mother; husband, Stephen D. Pierce; sons, John and Harry Foley; step-daughter, Tracey Thomas; sisters, Earline, Lois, Lilly, Joyce; brothers, Danny, Ralph, Ricky, Luther; 12 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011, 11:00 AM at Harlem Church of Christ and Christian Union, 11229 Gorsuch Road, Galena, OH 43021. Interment will follow the service.
