Carolyn G. Wood

Carolyn G. Wood, a beloved member of the Dublin community, peacefully departed this world on December 18, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on July 11, 1940, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Carolyn's life was a testament to love, faith, and dedication. Along with her husband, Bill, were the owners of Tri-Wood Insurance Agency.

Carolyn was known for her warm smile and generous spirit, attributes that were evident in both her personal and professional life. A faithful Christian, she found joy and purpose in her church community, enjoying the company of her church friends

In her leisure moments, Carolyn found happiness walking her dog, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Carolyn leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her daughter, Trisha (David) DeLong; granddaughter, Emily (Sam) Moynihan; and grandsons, Andrew (Angela) DeLong and Jeffrey DeLong. They will forever hold onto the wonderful memories they created with her, a testament to the loving and nurturing role she played in their lives.

She reunites now with her husband, Bill Wood; brother, Richard L. Gantz; sister, Dorothy Marchal; and her parents, Ira Gantz and Emma (Strickling) Gantz. Their spirits will embrace her in the peace of eternity.

A visitation in honor of Carolyn will take place on December 24, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Newcomer Funeral Home in Powell, located at 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH. Following this, a funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, also at the funeral home, commemorating her life and the impact she had on so many. A graveside service will follow at Dublin Cemetery, commencing at 12:15 PM, allowing family and friends to say their final goodbyes.

In moments of remembering Carolyn, may we all find comfort in the legacy of love and joy that she shared with the world. She will be missed deeply, yet her spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.
