Catherine L. Lester (Chandler), 81, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late James and Nola (Roberts) Chandler on October 25, 1926, Catherine is also preceded in death by her husband, Basil Lester; son, Dallas Lester; brothers, George and Dick Chandler; granddaughter, Danielle Friend. Survivors include her sons, Tom (Donna), Gary (Patty), Jimmy, Dave (Doris), Danny (Kathy) Lester; sister, Janice (Jim) Bruce; brothers, Jim, Jack (Rosita) and Larry Chandler; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2008, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with a graveside service on Saturday, September, 20, 2008,10:00 AM at Northlawn Cemetery, Westerville, OH. Pastor Joseph Friend will officiate.
