Catherine Pitt

Catherine Mary Pitt, 65 of Columbus, passed away May 4, 2022. Catherine is survived by her nephew Charles Backus, niece Ally Pitt, childhood friend Mary Carpenter, long time friend Karen Holbrook, and her dog Lucy. She is preceded in death by her husband Vernon Hensley, parents Lillian and Rex Pitt, sister Ann Backus (Donald), brother Billy Pitt, and nephew Donny Backus. Catherine graduated from Eastmoor High School and was retired from Kroger. She loved to fish, shoot guns, and ride Harleys. She had a heart of gold and touched many lives. Catherine's wishes were to be cremated with no formal service. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later time.
