Cathey Rebecca Vincent, "Well done my good and faithful servant." age 55, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2007, surrounded by her loving family at her Grove City home. "But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions. It is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus." (Ephesians 2:4-7) Born to the late Elsworth and Dorothy (Donley) Hayes in Columbus on August 19, 1951, Cathey is survived by her husband of 36 years, Patrick Vincent; son, Matthew Vincent; daughter, Amy (Lorenzo) Cole; sister, Anna (Rufus) McClain; brothers, Jack (Mary Ellen), Richard (Sharon), Robert (Denise), Ronald (Mary) Hayes; grandson, Andrew Cole; and numerous members of her extended family. Cathey worked in the Outreach Department at SPL and was a member of the Buckeye Christian Church. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2007 from 2-4PM & 6-8PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City with the funeral on Monday, July 2, 2007, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Pastor Stan Kirtlan will officiate. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery.
