Cathrine "Cathy" (Newell) Hoopaugh, 63, of Columbus and formerly of Northern California, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013.
Cathy was born in Columbus, OH on April 26, 1949, to Thomas and Margery (Shetrone) Newell and is preceded in death by her father and step-father, Richard Goodyear.
Survivors include her daughter, Michele Young (Robert) Omler; mother, Margery Goodyear; cousins, Betsy Newell, Becky (Ricardo) Newell, Billy (Debbie) Newell and many, many close friends that she considered family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013, 2-4 PM with Reflections of Cathy's Life at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in Cathy's name to the American Cancer Society, 5555 Frantz Road, Dublin, OH 43017.
