Cathy R. Plakis

Cathy R. Plakis passed peacefully after a short, sudden illness. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Nick and parents George and Madeline Rayner. She met them and the Lord in time for a sweet Valentine's Day Dinner.

She is survived by daughter: Elizabeth; grandchildren: Victoria and Niko; loving friends: Betty, Rick and Marie; as well as many sibling, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will take place on February 17, 2025, from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Newcomer Northeast Chapel- 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231.

A Celebration of Life will follow in the spring at the LDS Church in New Albany.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Aerodigestive and Esophageal Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
