Cecil Lemons, 81, Columbus, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Cecil was born in Portsmouth, OH on May 22, 1930, to Lonnie and Cora (Hamilton) Lemons and is preceded in death by his parents; sons, Michael and Rodney Lemons; grandson, Sam Delong; several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte (Nixon) Lemons; daughter, Brenda (Bob) Reed; sons, Brinton (Tish), Gerald (Kim), Darrell Lemons; step-daughters, Brenda (Brian) Delong, Janet (Gary) Pollock, Tina (Jay) Phiffer; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at C.M. Cemetery, Oak Hill, OH.
