Rev. Cecil Wayne Wilder went to be with the Lord on May 28th, 2009 in his Columbus home. Preceded in death by his loving parents William B. Wilder and Martha E. Wilder, four sisters and two brothers. "Wayne" spent 50 years in the Church of God ministry. He was truly a faithful servant of God. He is survived by his wife of over 61 years, Kathryn, his daughter Marsha Wilder of Columbus, and two sons with family. Wayne and wife Charlene, with daughters Rebekah and Sarah of Wilbraham, Massachusetts, and daughter Rachel with husband Dan and Cecil's only great grandson David Vantassel, all of Columbus. William Douglas and his wife Krista with son William Curtis, all of Dayton. Wayne was a World War II Army veteran and attended Anderson College in Anderson, Indiana where he met his beloved Kathryn. Visitation Friday, May 29, 2009 from 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH. Funeral Service Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 2 PM at North Church, 5600 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH. Interment Monday, June 1, 2009 at 11 AM at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, OH.
