Celestina Alamo

Celestina Alamo, age 80, of Columbus, OH passed away peacefully on December 14, 2022. Celestina was a loving and caring individual and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Rafael Alamo and her father, Tino Ocasio and mother Ana Diaz. She is survived by her brother Cecilio Ocasio, 3 daughters, Delia Alamo, Jackelin Alamo, Beverly (Ronald) Smith. 8 grand children, Rafael, Arielle, Maylinda, Maritza (Ben) Cleveland, Juan, Carlos, Savannah and Donovan and 7 great grandchildren, Alexander, Nyah, Ariana, Peyton, Demetrius, Braxton and Xavior.

She loved spending time with her family and friends in OH as well as in FL where she was a member of the Doral Park Community Center for more than 10 years. She will be remembered for her love of Bingo, her Puerto Rican delicacies, her giving heart, beautiful smile, compassionate spirit and unwavering faith.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 9am until 11am at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Parish 6077 Sharon Woods Blvd. Columbus. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
