Charlene L. Johnson (Shuster) passed away at her home on June 15, 2009. Charlene was born to Elmer Shuster and Esther (Saltzgaber) Shuster on March 12, 1928 in Columbus, OH. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bruce; children Bruce C. (Beverly A.) Johnson Jr. and Barbara (David) Brown; siblings, Calvin (Gypsy) Shuster, Lowell (Patty) Shuster and Martha Allison; grandchildren; Bruce Johnson III, Clayton (Kaci) Johnson, Jonathan Brown, Benjamin Brown and Hilary Brown; and great-grandchild Kayli Ann Johnson. Charlene is preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter Gloria Ann Johnson and brother Emerson Shuster. Charlene was a charter member at Cooke Rd. Church of the Nazarene. Visitation Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH. Funeral Service Friday, June 19, 2009 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, OH.
