Charles Blackston

BLACKSTON Charles D. Blackston, 88, Grove City, passed away July 13, 2006, surrounded by his family. Born September 16, 1917, to the late James P. and Rebecca M (Sinift) in Bremen, Ohio. Charles is preceded in death by his wife Grace (Ogan), daughter Janet Stickler, son, Charles O., brothers Gilbert and Roy, 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild. Charles is survived by a son, Danny (JoEllen); son-in law, Gene Stickler; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. Charles was a WWII veteran with the 120th AAA Battalion. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2006, at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio.
