Charles "Dave" Burchett, 65, of Columbus passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at his residence. He was born January 20, 1945, in Scioto, Co. Dave was preceded in death by his father, Johnson Burchett and brother, Benny Burchett. Dave was a 1963 graduate of Valley High School and served in the Army during Vietnam. He was formerly employed by Commercial Trailer Co. for 23 years and was also a retired owner/operator for 15 years. Dave is survived by his mother, Imogene Littleton Burchett; daughter, Angie (Steve) Walton; granddaughter, Cheyenne Walton; sister, Virginia Burchett; nieces, Jaculine Brayton and Susan Burchett; sister-in-law, Carolyn Burchett and many great nieces, nephews and close friends. Visitation will be Friday, February 26, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, with visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery.
