Charles G. Chapman, 87, of Orient, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at his residence. He was born April 10, 1922, in Franklin County, son of the late George and Louise Chapman. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Lee; brother, Rudolph and son-in-law, Chris. He is survived by his wife, Amelia; daughters, Lonnie (Jerry), Darlene (Richard), Peggy (Steven), Diana (Ed), Rhonda (Fritz) and Betsy; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, July 10, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery.
