Charles Norman Collins, Jr., 77, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, April 20th.
Norman was born June 16, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio to Charles and Virgina (Jennings) Collins.
Norman enjoyed spending time with his family. He served two years in the army. He graduated from Franklin University with a BA in business administration. He was self-employed as an insurance agent through his insurance agency, Collins Insurance Co. Norman loved God and maintained his faith throughout his life.
Norman will be deeply missed by his ex-wife Semegn Collins (Leulseged); children Charles Amha Collins, Clarence Amha Collins, his niece Monica Lynne Jackson (Larry) and a host of family and friends.
Norman was preceded in death by his mother Virgina Collins, his father Charles Collins and his sister Brenda Allen (Collins).
Funeral Service with Burial following will be held at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, 8029 E. Main St, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068, May 3rd at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Norman J. Brown officiating. Military rites will be held. Please send flowers to Newcomer Columbus 3047 E. Dublin - Granville Rd, Columbus Ohio 43231.
