Charles Columbro

Charles "Chuck" Columbro, 56, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at his residence after a valiant battle with liver disease.

He was born February 3, 1960 in Columbus, son of the late Tony Ralph Columbro, Esther Ann Seely and Richard Eugene Thornton.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his uncle, Glenn Seely and brother-in-law, Steven L. Bond.

He was a 1978 graduate of Brookhaven High School and was the owner of B&B and Angela's Pizza.

Chuck also worked for Columbus City Schools in the Food service department.

He was an avid O.S.U. and Bengals fan.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Lora Columbro; sons, Richard Nicholas Columbro and Eric Scott Columbro; sisters, Angela Marie Bond, Marianne "Boob" (Jeff Bolon) Columbro and Bonnie Lynn Columbro; best friend, Johnny Miller; four legged companions, Daulton and Toby and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Northlawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Attn: Development Department, 711 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, OH 43205.
