Charles E. Kitchen 88, Galena, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 26, 2013.
Charles was born in Ceredo Kenova, WV on February, 14, 1925, to William C. and May (Jones) Kitchen and is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ellen Mocsary; brothers, Jack ,Murel and Franklin "Buster" Kitchen.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene (Bunch) Kitchen; daughters, Debbie Hanes and her husband, David, Marsha Kitchen and her husband, Brad Beck; grandchildren, Tyler Hanes and Morgan Beck; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Charles served in the US Air Force and the US Army during WWII and retired from Sears & Roebuck Service Center.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013, 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at Sharon Woods Baptist Church, 5959 Sharon Woods Blvd, Columbus, OH 43229, with the Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, 11:30 AM with visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice, 6150 E. Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43213 or Sharon Woods Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Blendon Central Cemetery, Westerville, OH.
