Charles Grimes

Charles Robert Grimes, 63, of Columbus, OH, passed away November 13, 2010 at HCR Manor Care, Westerville, OH. He was born on January 5, 1947 in Washington, PA to Joseph McKinley and Edith Agnes (Cullins) Grimes. Charles married Sheila (Connolly) on February 21, 1981. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 0689, Grove City, OH. Charles was a longstanding member and newsletter editor of the Columbus Woodworkers Of Central Ohio (WOCO).
Survivors include, loving wife, Sheila Grimes of Columbus, daughter, Shawn Connolly of Columbus, sister, Vicki Grimes Gibson of Madison, MS, ½ brother, David Grimes of Virginia, grandchildren, Blake and Taylor Connolly, cousins, Randy Cunningham of Dresden, OH, Gary Grimes of Cleveland, OH, Lorraine Grimes Lowe of Cleveland, OH, June Grimes Socransky of Boston, MA, Phyllis Grimes Hamilton of Claysville, PA. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Joseph M. Grimes Jr., Theodore Grimes.
Memorial services will be conducted by Pastor Wayne Booth, Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 4pm at Genoa Baptist Church, 7562 Lewis Center Road, Westerville, OH 43082. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to American Diabetes Association or the Masonic Home in Springfield, OH.
