Charles W. Grimmett, age 64, of Columbus, passed away peacefully October 23, 2007 after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Charles was preceeded in death by his mother, Rose; brother, Kenneth, and daughter, Marie. Charles is survived by his loving wife, Linda; sons, Charlie (Heidi) of Gahanna, and Johnny of Baltimore, Ohio; grandchildren, Adam, Zachariah, Jeremiah, Janis Nicole, Jacob, Danielle, Marcello, and Juan; one great grandchild, Tristen; sister, Gladys of KY; brothers, James of FL, and Paul (Ruth) of Cardington; also many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, October 26, 2007 from 2:00 PM-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio with cremation to follow.
