Charles E. Hixson "Mike", age 77, passed away on May 26, 2017. He was born on August 19, 1939 in Columbus, OH to the late Charles and Francis Hixson.
Mike is preceded in death by his wife Barbara; sister Sharon Smith; brother-in-law Donnie Smith.
He is survived by his children Kim (Robert) Mitchell, Michael (Betty) Hixson, Charles (Pamela) Hixson, Michelle (Glenn) Hazlett, and Billy (Dia) Hixson; Brother Victor (Shirley) Hixson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.
Mike was a long time golfer, bowler, and was well known in the Martial Arts community as "Grandmaster Mike Hixson". He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.
Visitations will be held on Sunday June 4, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, from 1-3pm and 5-7pm with a service starting at 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family for funeral costs.
