Charles Jordan Knight

Charles Knight, 62, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at his residence. He was born October 29, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Charles and Mary (Ellis) Knight.
Charles graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a degree in business economics.
He spent over 35 years in the insurance industry, but he was proudest being an independent insurance claims adjuster and owning his own business.
Charles enjoyed basketball, football, and biking. Always an athlete, a record holder, and avid sportsman. Charles Knight was "oh, what a knight!"
He is survived by his sons, Jordan Knight (India) and Robert Anderson, daughters, Kinya Knight, Kiana Knight, and Tonya Crenshaw; grandchildren, Ashli, Adrianne, Andrew, Jackson, Jordin, Jordan and Destiny; great-grandchildren, Aniyah and Carter; siblings, Frederick Knight (Renee), Letitia Brown, Lottie Supples, Ruben Knight, Rosemary Snowden, Edward Knight, Vernon Knight (Carolyn), Jesse Knight (deceased).
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231 where the funeral service will be held Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Wilson Cemetery.
