Charles "Chuck" Michael McCarty, age 57, of Grove City, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009. He was born on July 31, 1952 to Max and Virginia McCarty in Columbus, Ohio. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Max; and brother, Mark. He is survived by his wife, Rose Evans-McCarty; mother, Virginia McCarty; special friends, Linda, Sonia, Jim, and Nancy; and many other friends. Chuck was an avid progressive euchre player and was a member of the Moose Lodge. Following cremation inurnment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations in Chuck's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 870 Michigan Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel.
