Charles E. McMahon, Sr., born November 1, 1948, passed away peacefully at Kobacker House surrounded by family on September 13, 2022.
He is preceded in death by parents, John and Sylvia McMahon; brothers, Ralph, David, and Bobby.
Charles is survived by loving partner of 30 years Linda Seligman and her family; his children, Tammy (Paul) Darrah, Charles (Heather) E. McMahon, Jr.; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, John (Rose) McMahon and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Charles served our country as a Gunner in the Vietnam 4th Infantry Division of the Army; he retired as a Staff Sergeant following 20 years of active duty with the Army. He also retired as a diesel mechanic with Westerville Transportation. He enjoyed karaoke, classic cars, Elvis, old country music, and going to the shooting range.
The family will hold a private military graveside service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles's honor to the Kobacker House or the American Cancer Society.
