Charles Edwin Murray

Charles E. Murray, 57, of Galloway, Ohio, passed away November 25, 2022. He was born on October 15, 1965 in Leesville, Louisiana to the late Saul and Madene Murray. He is preceded in death by parents and son, Aaron Joseph Murray.

Charles worked for 40 years doing stucco. He started his own company which he ran for a decade. Charles was a loyal LSU and New Orleans Saints fan. One of his favorite hobbies was to crack jokes, tease and pick on his family and loved ones.

Charles' life revolved around his wife, son, and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege to love him.

Surviving family includes his wife of 35 years, Lisa Murray; son, Joshua Edwin Murray of Katy, Texas Joshua's children, Emalyn and Jarron Murray; brother, Robert Murray; sister, Stacey (Nate) Sprague of Potsdam, New York; step-dad, Larry Smith of Potsdam, New York; many nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.


Visitation will be held on Friday December 2, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm at Newcomer SW Chapel Grove City, Ohio 43123.
