Charles R. Yontz, 78, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Born to Frank J and Mary (Spangler) Yontz in Byesville, OH on June 15, 1930, Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Francis "Curly" Yontz; sisters, Helen McGuire and Alma Stillwell. Survivors include his sons, Phillip (Robin), Lawrence and Donald (Pamela) Yontz; granddaughter, Amy Yontz; nieces and nephews. Charles was the sole proprietor of "Lighthouse Recreation". At Charles's request, there will be no public service. Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH is honored to serve the family of Charles Yontz. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 15120 Collections Center Drive, Chicago, IL 60693.
