Charles M. "Chic" Shiller, 51, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2006 at his residence. He was born April 11, 1955, in Logan, WVa. Chic served in the Army during Vietnam. He is preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Sarah Jane Hampton Shiller; brothers, William "Bill" and Joseph Franklin Shiller. He is survived by a wife, Priscilla E. "Penny" Wigal Shiller; sons, Brian and Steven Shiller; brother, James Edward Shiller all of Columbus; sisters, Elizabeth (Billy) Cole of Logan, WVa., Gloria Hanson, Martha Nickell and Rose (Donald) Finnerty all of Columbus; several grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, December 17, 2006 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. Funeral service will be Monday, December 18, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Glen Rest Memorial Estates. Messages of condolences may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com.
