TEMPLE, Charles H. (Sock), 78, of Grove City, passed away February 7, 2005 at Mount Carmel West Hospital. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Kay Montell; parents, Thomas and May (Hitch) Temple and brothers, John and Thomas Temple. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Marianne; daughters, Charlene (Bobby) Schulz, Debbie Townsend, Roxanne (Jon) Bickenheuser and son-in-law, Tommy Montell. Charles is also survived by his grandchildren, Bobbi Kay Schulz, Travis (Kim) Schulz, Charla (Kevin) Dean, Sam Townsend, Ben Townsend, Shelley (Todd) Perigo, Michael Montell, Dustin Temple; great-grandchildren, Abbi, Jacob, Cameron Schulz, Luke and Kate Perigo; brother, Robert (Helen) Temple and sisters-in-law, Ruth Temple and Frankie Temple. Charles was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Grove City and a member of the Grove City Masonic Lodge #689. He was a veteran of the US Navy Sea Bees during World War II and enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling. He retired after 44 years of service as a foreman with CSX Railroad. Charles was a wonderful, devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Friday, February 11, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 with Rev. James Moran officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM on Thursday, February 10, 2005 with a Masonic service at 7:30PM by the Grove City Masonic Lodge. Interment will be at Grove City Cemetery.
