Charles Wm. Thompson, 81, of Canal Winchester, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2008 within days of his beloved wife, Hallie Thompson, who passed away January 2, 2008. Charles retired from Grace Chemical Company and was previously a member of Westside Freewill Baptist Church. Charles attended Fellowship Baptist Church. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Hallie; son, Mark E. Thompson and parents, Charles C. Thompson and Dorothy Collins. Charles is survived by his daughter, Lynn (Keith) Alban; grandchildren, Rebecca Alban, Lora Alban, David Alban and USAF AM Daniel (Chelsea) Alban; sister, Elvyra Glenn and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 4701 Winchester Pike, Columbus, Ohio. Rev. Joe Cotroneo will be officiating with interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
