Charles L. Vallance, 84, passed away at Laurels of Norworth on March 31, 2009. Retired from Roadway Express. Attended Sharon Woods Baptist. Preceded in death by, parents, Charles M. and Edna (Fields) Vallance; brother, Frank Vallance; sisters, Opal Burton Wanda Rowland, and Mary Evelyn Vallance. Charles is survived by daughters, Mary(John) Hermiz, Donna (Patrick) Petty; former wife, Anna Vallance; sister, Emaline McDonley; grandchildren, Christopher (Paige) Newkirk, Matthew Hermiz, Daniel (Jill) Hermiz, and Hannah Hermiz; 3 great grandchildren; caring nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2-5pm Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231. Funeral Service held 10:30am, Monday, April 6 at Sharon Woods Baptist Church.Pastor Brian McCoy and Christopher Newkirk officiating. Interment Kingwood Memorial Park.
