Charles Van Natta Jr.

Charles "Buck" Van Natta Jr., 73, of Gahanna, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012 at St. Ann's Hospital.
He was born November 22, 1938 in Lakewood, son of the late Charles and Mary Ellen Freeh Van Natta.
Buck is survived by his sons, Richard, Michael (Linda) and Steven Van Natta; sister, Sherill (James) Redovian; partner in life, Sue Shields; stepdaughter, Penny Williams; mother of his children, Sharon Van Natta; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, June 8, 2012 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, the funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tim Redovian Memorial Fund, 5952 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. Suite 15 Norcross, GA 30071.
Buck served in the Army and was an avid Buckeyes fan. He loved his tomato plants and working and spending time at Yogi's Hoagies. Buck will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have known him.
