Charles Phillip Woods, 59, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly August 17, 2006. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Woods; sister, Denise Powers; nephew, Stephen Powers and aunt, Peggy Blair. Phil is survived by his fiance, Doris Holzmeier; daughter, Cara Woods-Righter and her husband, Richard; son, Chris Woods; father, Charles (Vicki) Woods; granddaughters, Mikensie Gaines and Ryan Righter; grandson, Seth Righter; sister, Tiffany Woods; brothers, Michael (Marsha), Daniel and Jonathon Woods; brother-in-law, William Powers; numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved pets, Daisy and Shelby. Phil was a loving fiance, father and grandfather and will be missed by many. Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00PM Monday, August 21, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Sunset Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
