Charles Edward Worden Sr., 77, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2006, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born February 6, 1929, in Tuscarawas, OH., son of the late Alfred and Freda Fay Six Worden. Charles spent three years in the Army during the Korean Conflict and also retired as a brick mason after 30 years. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son Robert Worden. He is survived by his sons, Charles Worden Jr., Garett Worden and Terry Worden; brother, John Worden; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, September 30, 2006 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, with Pastor Leonard Milbourne officiating, and services following at 4:00 PM. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
